Are there bathroom towels at the villa? Yes, you will have your own bathroom towel.
Do I need a travel adapter? If you are coming from Ireland or the U.K., yes, you will need to bring a European adapter.
Is there an iron at the retreat villa? Yes, there is an iron at the retreat villa.
Does Croatia use Euro currency? Yes, since the 1st January 2023 Croatia is using the Euro.
Is there a hairdryer at the villa? Yes! There are hairdryers at the villa.
Is there a taxi service you recommend using? We highly recommend using the BOLT app. You can download it from Apple App store or Google store, and use it in Croatia.
Will there be coffee? Yes! There will be coffee available before your morning yoga class. There will be coffee with your mid-morning brunch. After 12 noon we won’t be serving coffee at the villa (to help promote afternoon naps, relaxation, and a good night’s sleep). Although you’ll be free as a bird every afternoon, so you can sip coffee at a local restaurant or by the beach! Herbal teas will be available all day.
I am vegan and my friend is vegetarian, will the chef provide for us? It is true, that we are bending the rules of traditional yoga retreats (which are mostly vegetarian) by serving seafood and meat, but in saying that, vegan and vegetarians will be provided for. Just make sure to inform us four weeks before your retreat starts, don’t worry, we will prompt you by email.
Are flights included? Flights are not included. This is because we have women coming from all different countries, by air, train and private car.
I don’t think I am near menopause, but the yoga retreat sounds incredible, can I still come? Most definitely! This retreat is ‘Women’s Health Yoga Retreat’ not ‘menopause retreat’ for that exact reason. All the themes we will be discussing are for overall health, not just for women in peri-menopause, post-menopause, and late reproductive stage.
Is Croatia in the E.U.? Yes, Croatia is in the E.U. If you are coming from the U.K. please make sure you have the correct travel documents.
Do I need cash? Many restaurants and shops in Croatia take cash only, so it is a good idea to have some cash. You can use an ATM at the airport or there are ATMs dotted around the island.
